Jamal Yunos will not contest in GE14

KUALA LUMPUR: Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos (pic) said he will not be contesting in GE14 come May 9.

He claimed that he was offered a chance to contest but he turned it down.

Jamal said he would instead be with the Barisan Nasional election machinery to assist the coalition's candidates.

He spoke to reporters after making a report at the Ampang Jaya District Police headquarters over a falsified account of his on social media. – Bernama
