Govt to recognise UEC qualification


KUALA LUMPUR: For the first time, recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) has been included in the election manifesto of Barisan Nasional.

The coalition has pledged to let UEC holders enrol in public universities, provided they obtain a credit in Bahasa Malaysia and a pass in History in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
