Four nations unite against MasterChef UK judge over Rendangate

PETALING JAYA: The “crispy rendang” controversy is heating up, with the people of four nations uniting to slam a MasterChef UK judge for suggesting that Malaysians should not be upset because rendang is actually from Indonesia.

It all started when MasterChef UK judge Gregg Wallace criticised Malaysian chef Zaleha Kadir Olpin’s rendang chicken for not being “crispy enough”.
