KUALA LUMPUR: Organisers of the anti-redelineation rally will be called up, said Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said while there were no arrests yet, police will call the organisers of the rally and record their statement.
"The rally is deemed illegal.
"We will take action under the Peaceful Assembly Act," he told a press conference after attending a Perkep event held at the Putra World Trade Centre on Thursday.
On the redelineation report which was leaked online last week, the IGP said no police report has been made on the matter.
The motion on the redelineation was passed in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (March 28) with 129 votes for and 80 votes against.
It only needed a simple majority of 111 lawmakers to be passed.
