24-year-old man reported missing in Shah Alam

PETALING JAYA: A 24-year-old youth has been reported missing in Shah Alam since the early hours of Thursday.

 

Mohammad Hafiz Ismail (pic) was believed to have left his home in Rawang to pick up a friend in his black Perodua Axia. He was heading towards Uptown Shah Alam at 12.49am on Thursday  (March 22).

 

However, attempts to contact Mohammad Hafiz by a female friend and his father were unsuccessful.

 

"He is not responding to WhatsApp messages, and we cannot call him. His phone is switched off or out of battery," said Mohammad Hafiz's father Ismail Md Ali.

 

"The friend he was with is uncontactable as well," Ismail added.

 

Ismail lodged a missing persons report at the Shah Alam Section 9 police station at 12.45am on Friday (March 23).
