YUNA (pic) has been a victim of online sexual harassment for the last six months, Kosmo! reported.

Through her official Twitter account, the singer said the perpetrator had been leaving disgusting sexual comments on her Instagram.

In the tweets, she reached out to Instagram to help her as she had blocked the perpetrator 10 times, “but he keeps coming back with new accounts”.

When contacted by the tabloid, her manager said that for the time being, Yuna, whose full name is Yunalis Zarai, refused to comment on the issue for safety reasons.

> A guidebook in Braille for newlyweds published by the National Population and Family Development Board is an effort to help the visually impaired face a new phase in life, Harian Metro reported.

The board, through its premarital programme SmartStart, publishes the guidebook in four languages – Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin and Tamil.

Women, Family and Community Development Ministry secretary-general Datuk Suriani Ahmad said so far this year, 11,000 visually impaired individuals were planning to get married or had married.

“This book could help them in the pursuit of a happy marriage.

“It can also help parents and young couples build a successful marriage regardless of their physical abilities,” she said at the launch of SmartStart’s Braille edition on Saturday.

> Through live performances featuring the traditional musical instrument caklempong, a group of students from Port Dickson Vocational College is hoping to raise funds for the less fortunate, Harian Metro reported.

Misi Jalinan Mesra programme adviser Shaiffuldin Mohamad said the money raised would be distributed to 450 poverty-stricken individuals in Kuala Lumpur’s city centre.

“We have received contributions from NGO Need to Feed the Needy, the parent-teacher association, students and staff of the college and the local community, which is also helping us with cash as well as management, announcements and promotions of the performances,” he said.

College director Abdul Razak Ismail said this form of community service was the students’ final-year project for their Event Management subject.
