CYBERJAYA: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke have been told to advise Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz to apologise to Robert Kuok.

MCA Youth chief Datuk Chong Sin Woon (pix) said that Lim’s comments on the Tourism and Culture Minister's criticism of Kuok were too “gentle” and called on the duo to advise their “good friend” to apologise to the tycoon.

“Since Nazri has openly recognised Lim Guan Eng as the big boss of Chinese society, isn’t it time for him to step forward and say something about Nazri humiliating us (Chinese)?” he said after officiating SJK (C) Union - the first Chinese primary school in Cyberjaya - on Thursday (March 1).

On Wednesday (Feb 28), Nazri claimed that DAP and not MCA is “the voice” of Malaysia’s Chinese community.

Nazri had earlier criticised Kuok after blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin posted three articles last week alleging that the tycoon funded various political parties to overthrow the Government.

Lim has said that he disagreed with Nazri’s attacks towards Asia’s richest man.

Chong said it is Lim and Loke’s role to advise Nazri on his wrong-doing, given that the Tourism and Culture Minister had openly recognised them as his “good friends” and “the voice” for the Chinese.
