Fuel prices down across the board

PETALING JAYA: Petrol prices are down across the board for the week beginning Feb 15.

RON95 petrol will be priced at RM2.23 per litre (down 10 sen from RM2.33) while RON97 will retail at RM2.50 per litre (down 11 sen from RM2.61).

Diesel will retail at RM2.19 per litre (down 12 sen from RM2.31).

The new prices were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening and will take effect from 12.01am on Thursday (Feb 15) until Feb 21.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April last year and the prices of petrol and diesel has been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
