Liow: TAR UC may get university status by year-end


KUALA LUMPUR: Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) could be granted university status by the end of this year, says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

"We can apply for university status after being a university college for five years. We will be applying and I am confident that this will be granted by the end of this year," the MCA president said in his speech at "Going 50: People Behind The TARC History" event on Tuesday (Feb 13).
