Three-year-old girl allegedly caned at day care centre, wound gets infected


IPOH: A mother has lodged a police report after her three-year-old daughter suffered a wound that later became infected, allegedly after she was caned at a day care centre in Bercham here.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Ali Tamby said that the girl's mother noted an injury on her daughter's right arm after she was sent home by a teacher at about 6pm last Wednesday (Jan 24) .
