Psychiatric observation requested for man accused of Tanjung Sepat murders

KUALA LANGAT: The case against a deaf-mute man accused of murdering an elderly couple and their two grandsons has been stood down following a request from his lawyer for the court to allow psychiatric observation for his client.

Kang Chang Heng's counsel Lim Chin Huat told the court during proceedings on Thursday that Kang was suspected to have a mental disorder as he suffered from serious hallucinations.
