Sultanah Maliha conferred Darjah Kerabat Kedah

ALOR SETAR: The Sultanah of Kedah, Sultanah Maliha Tengku Ariff, was conferred the Darjah Kerabat Kedah at an investiture ceremony at Istana Anak Bukit in conjunction with the 76th birthday of the Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah.

Also honoured were Raja Puan Muda Kedah Che Puan Muda Zaheeda and Datuk Seri Utama Hajah Haminah who were conferred the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Kedah and Yang Maha Mulia Che Puan Besar Kedah titles respectively.

Present were Raja Muda of Kedah Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Sultan Sallehuddin, Tunku Bendahara Kedah Tan Sri Tunku Abdul Hamid Thani Sultan Badlishah, Tunku Temenggong Kedah Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Sultan Abdul Halim and Tunku Laksamana Kedah Datuk Tunku Shazudin Ariff Sultan Sallehuddin.

Also present were Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah and wife Datin Seri Hizam Awang Ahmad.

Last year, Sultan Sallehuddin was awarded the Darjah Kerabat Kelantan in September, the Darjah Kerabat Johor in October and Darjah Kerabat Perak in December. — Bernama
