KUALA LUMPUR: A viral message on social media claiming that an umrah pilgrim is being treated for Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection is not true, said Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health Director-General said a laboratory test conducted on a sample belonging to the male patient tested negative for the disease.
