Fuel prices up for week of Dec 21

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will go up across the board for the fourth week of December from Dec 21.

The prices of RON95 and RON97 will see a two sen increase to RM2.27 and RM2.54 per litre. The price of diesel will go up by three sen to RM2.23 per litre.

The new prices, announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening, will take effect from 12.01am on Dec 21 until Dec 27.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
