Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V attended the state welcoming ceremony, which was also attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Dame Patsy, who became Governor-General in September last year, is also scheduled to visit the Malaysian Islamic Art Museum and Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque.

Later, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman held a 30-minute meeting with Dame Patsy, who began her four-day visit yesterday.
