IGP: Police investigating alleged affair involving senior MACC officer

SEPANG: The police are investigating allegations that a senior anti-graft officer had an extramarital affair with a married woman, after several videos supposedly exposing it surfaced online.

“If we have to make arrests, we will. But as of now we haven't made any.

“You have to give us enough time to investigate this matter,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

“We are trying hard to find those responsible. As far as I know, the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) has not made a (police) report,” he said after launching the KLIA police headquarters here.

He added that the case was being investigated under Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing, with criminal intent, a married woman.
