KUALA LUMPUR: The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) is monitoring drug abuse in People's Housing Project (PPR) communities, which it has identified as high-risk areas.

Speaking after an integrated anti-drug operation, known as Ops BAH 38, early Friday morning, AADK deputy director-general Datuk Izhar Abu Talib said the agency had received many complaints and reports from residents in those communities, prompting it to investigate the areas in addition to other potential drug ports such as entertainment joints and illegal gambling dens.
