Jana Niaga’s RM16mil deal above board, say Unisel and MBI

KLANG: The Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd deal was made to ensure that Universiti Selangor (Unisel) operations were not disrupted, as well as to adhere to a court order over a dispute, said two parties involved in the matter.

Unisel and Selangor investment holding company Mentri Besar Incorporated (MBI) said in a statement that the deal was the result of a High Court and Court of Appeal order to settle the dispute between the university and Jana Niaga via arbitration.
