KOTA KINABALU: Vietnamese vessels are depleting fish stocks in Sabah by misusing their licences and breaking the conditions of their permits.
Some 31 Vietnamese fishing vessels have been licensed to operate in Sabah waters but the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said this has given rise to various issues.
