Sabah stops animal imports from Sarawak over rabies scare

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will remain vigilant over the entry of live animals, particularly dogs and cats from Sarawak where three cases of rabies were reported.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin said all licences issued by the Sabah Veterinary and Livestock Services Department (Dovsai) for the import of live animals from Sarawak have been cancelled.
