PETALING JAYA: Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will be matching the original RM50,000 seed funding for the Soo Ewe Jin Scholarship, doubling the fund available to sponsor aspiring journalists.
Its vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Asma Ismail, in announcing that, effectively made USM the first contributor to the scholarship that was founded yesterday.
