KUALA LUMPUR: Labour laws are being reviewed to prevent employers from discriminating pregnant women.
Deputy Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Abd Muttalib (pix) said his ministry is looking into the Employment Act and some 21 existing labour laws to improve workers’ welfare, including preventing gender discrimination.
