I'm super happy for you, Prince to 'super Dad' Sultan Sharafuddin

Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah shares photos with his father Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on his instagram account.

PETALING JAYA: Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah congratulated his father on his recent marriage saying he supported the decisions made by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

“I have nothing but admiration for this one man I called Dad.

“I will always be supportive and stand behind you as your warrior, I am forever proud to be your son.

“Alhamdullilah, and congratulations Dad! I am super happy for you,” the prince said on his Instagram on Friday.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah married RTM news presenter Norashikin Abdul Rahman on Aug 31.

Tengku Amir said he shared the same relationship with his father like “other father and son.”

“A father is a man like no other. Our relationship is as normal as other father and sons.

“He gave me life, sacrificed for me, brought me up to be a man, guided me when I am down and the best example to me of how to become a great leader.

“A strong-willed man, a brave fighter, a Sultan of full wisdom and compassion adored by his people,” said Tengku Amir.

The royal solemnisation ceremony at Masjid Istana Diraja, Istana Alam Shah, Klang was performed by Selangor Mufti Datuk Mohd Tamyes Abd Wahid.

Norashikin, a former Malaysia Airlines stewardess, was married to Mustapha Kamal Halim, a pilot at Etihad Airlines.
