Johor lion dance association retains world champion title


Roaring performance: Lion dance troupe Kun Seng Keng executing a flawless routine, earning it its 11th Genting World Lion Dance Championship title at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands.

GENTING HIGHLANDS: The Kun Seng Keng Lion and Dragon Dance Association from Muar, Johor, won its 11th trophy at the Genting World Lion Dance Championship.

The defending champion beat 10 other troupes from Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, winning US$10,000 (RM40,000) in cash, a trophy and medals yesterday.
