Loyalty important, says Noh Omar on reappointment to Cabinet

SHAH ALAM: Tan Sri Noh Omar (pic) welcomes his reappointment to the Cabinet, thanking Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak for the opportunity.

“I take this as a reminder to myself, that loyalty to the party (Umno) and hard work will not go unnoticed.

“Despite the ups and downs throughout the years, our day will come with the opportunity to take up greater responsibilities again as long as we persevere and remain patient,” he said when contacted here Monday.

The former agriculture and agro-based industry minister will now helm the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry after a Cabinet reshuffle announced by Najib earlier.

Noh, who is Selangor Umno chairman, came to know his reappointment to Cabinet after he was told by party members during a meeting.

“Nevertheless, I am happy and most of all thankful. I look forward to delivering more services to the people in urban development,” he added.
