Copter crash: Second body confirmed to be Dr Sundaran

KUCHING: The second body retrieved from the helicopter crash has been confirmed to be that of Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry secretary-general Datuk Dr Sundaran Annamalai (pic).

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that the body, which was recovered at 8.30am Saturday, was Dr Sundaran's.

"The third body is still undergoing a post-mortem," Najib told reporters gathered at the Sarawak general hospital.

Also present at the hospital was Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The bodies of three remaining male victims have yet to be found.
