BUKIT MERTAJAM: Fire destroyed machinery and cloth materials at a towel manufacturing factory in Jalan Bukit Teh here.

Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Azman Hussin said 18 firemen from three fire stations rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call.
