Here's how you can show your films at Urbanscapes 2016

PETALING JAYA: Award-winning video news platform R.AGE is giving two talented filmmakers the chance to have their work screened at Urbanscapes 2016 on May 2.

Those interested can submit their films to R.AGE via email (alltherage@thestar.com.my) before April 29.

The screening of the two winning submissions will take place at Urbanscapes House, right before a screening of the Asian Media Award-winning documentary, The Curse Of Serawan. Admission is free.

The documentary is an investigation into reported orang asli child deaths in the Royal Belum State Park from a mysterious illness the locals call serawan.

The producers of the documentary will also be there for an open Q&A session, which will also be attended by orang asli activists.

The two filmmakers whose work get screened will also win two passes each to the Urbanscapes Hotel Takeover, worth RM1,000 each.

Hotel Takeover will be an all-night party, featuring a special performance by British drum and bass act Rudimental.
