Making flying fun

Some of Vietjet’s out-of-the-box ideas include special appearances by Lady Gaga and Marilyn Monroe lookalikes, who will perform and interact with passengers on board.

THE emergence of low-cost airlines has certainly changed the face of travelling. Asia is setting new trends in long-haul, low-cost air travel, with Southeast Asia’s 23 low-cost carriers (LCC) growing about 13% in 2015. In only three years, the region’s LCC fleet has expanded  by 50%, from 400 to over 600 aircraft.

Adding to this mix is a new-age carrier that is quickly spreading its wings across Vietnam and regional skies.
