GEORGE TOWN: A lawyer sustained 80% burns while her parents escaped unhurt when a gas leak caused an explosion in the kitchen of their double-storey house in Solok Pantai Jerejak, Sungai Nibong.
Eilyn Chua, 38, is reported to be receiving treatment at the Penang Hospital after undergoing surgery for her injuries while her parents Chua Keng Hock, 80, and Tan Soo Hai, 70, will be temporarily staying at their friend’s house.
