KUALA LUMPUR: Former Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and former Kedah mentri besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir have joined Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the latter's press conference.
Both arrived at about 10.45am at Muhyiddin's office in Bukit Damansara where Muhyiddin is scheduled to talk to reporters about his future in Umno.
Like Muhyiddin, Shafie was sacked from the Cabinet while Mukhriz was sacked from his position as mentri besar for criticising the government's handling of 1Malaysia Development Bhd and RM2.6bil political donation.
All eyes will be on Muhyiddin who is expected to reveal his future after being unceremoniously dumped as Umno's No 2 man.
Uppermost on everyone's mind is whether Muhyiddin will follow Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who quit Umno last Monday citing loss of confidence in the top leadership.
