PUTRAJAYA: There is no evidence to prove that cosmetics millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and her three aides were murdered and burnt to death in 2010, the Court of Appeal heard.
Lawyer Manjeet Singh Dhillon submitted in the appeal hearing that the prosecution did not provide any evidence – direct or circumstantial – to prove the necessary ingredients of the charge against former lawyer N. Pathmanabhan and his three farm hands under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
