Shafee Abdullah: Mohamed Apandi right person to be Attorney-General


BANGKOK: Malaysian senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah (pic) has welcomed the appointment of former Federal Court Judge Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali as the new Malaysian attorney-general, saying he was the right person for the job because "he is very independent minded".

He said Mohamed Apandi exhibited that he was a very independent person when he was a Federal Court judge.
