Mohamad Fuzi Harun takes over as new Special Branch director


KUALA LUMPUR: Comm Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun (pic) is the new Bukit Aman Special Branch director.

Inspector-General of Police Secretariat assistant head (Corporate Communications) Asst Comm Datin Asmawati Ahmad said Comm Mohamad Fuzi has taken from Deputy Comm Datuk Seri Akhil Bulat who has retired.

Comm Mohamad Fuzi was the Special Task Force (Operations and Counter Terrorism) director before it was disbanded.

He was also the acting Deputy Inspector General after Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Zinin retired on Sept 5, 2014.

He later became the Bukit Aman Management director when Datuk Seri Noor Rashid Ibrahim was appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police in December last year.
