Anwar to appoint Syarie counsel in court


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be brought to the Syariah Court on July 27 to allow him to appoint his Syarie counsel in the case against him by Datuk Seri Dr Jamil Khir Baharom and two others.

The two others are Syarie prosecution chief Shamsuddin Hussain and Federal Territory Religious Department director Datuk Che Mat Che Ali.
