GEORGE TOWN: Affordable housing buyers in Penang are being “shortchanged” by a local developer, claims Penang Gerakan Youth.
“State Housing Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo had said that 850sq ft and 900sq ft units were supposed to be priced at RM299,000 and RM399,000 respectively but a developer in Paya Terubong was charging RM299,000 and RM399,000 for 473sq ft and 587sq ft units.
