Liow: JPJ needs to be more people-friendly and provide better services

CAMERON HIGHLANDS: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) must shed its image as just an enforcement unit, and become more people-friendly and provide better services to the people, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

“The old perception of JPJ enforcement officers being unapproachable should change. Meeting its officers often means getting a summons. This often portrays officers as not people-friendly,” he said.
