Sabah quake: Civil servant arrested for insulting Facebook post


KOTA KINABALU: A 22-year-old civil servant was arrested for mocking the people of Sabah following the June 5 earthquake that killed 18, including climbers and guides.

The man had posted "kene gempa bumi bru nk kecoh ... Standard la negeri penuh sociality ... pub ... night club trbanyak di malaysia" (only after there's an earthquate this state is taking action ... the standard of this state is too social, it has the most pubs and nightclubs in Malaysia. Now want to shake so much. God has shaken it up. Why afraid now?" in his Facebook account on June 6.
