Body parts of infant found in Johor sewage plant

JOHOR BARU: Several dismembered body parts belonging to an infant were found inside a sewage plant near Kempas here. 

Johor Baru (North) OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Khamsani Abdul Rahman said police were notified about the gory find at about 1.30am Sunday. 

He added that a team of workers cleaning the plant found several body parts that got stuck inside a waste trap.

"So far, we have recovered about 15 parts. Initial investigations showed that they belong to an infant.

"However, we have yet to find the infant's head," he said, adding that police are investigating the case.
