PETALING JAYA: Police have recorded the statements of six witnesses in the case of Maisara Amira Mohamad Asmadi who claimed she was threatened with rape after she was detained over the May 1 anti-GST rally.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the case was being investigated by the Kuala Lumpur police.

"We are still waiting for Maisara to cooperate," Khalid said on his tweeter account @KBAB51.

On Tuesday, Maisara, 21, told a press conference that a policeman in plainsclothes threatened that he would rape her and released the video of the rape while she was detained for four days at the Dang Wangi station over the May 1 rally.
