Paint protest: Yellow paint splashed on the floor of the Maxis Centre in Jalan Ampang after two men were denied ‘VIP numbers’.

KUALA LUMPUR: Incensed because they were not given “VIP numbers”, two men who made a living by selling special vehicle registration plates and phone numbers caused a stir and splashed yellow paint at Menara Maxis here.

The two were arrested by police after the incident at noon at the Maxis Centre in Jalan Ampang here yesterday.
