Chopper crash: All six bodies removed from site


PETALING JAYA: The six bodies from the crash of a helicopter in Semenyih, Kajang on Saturday have been retrieved from the site.

The Fire and Services Department said the last body was taken out from the crash site at Jalan Sungai Lallang at 8.15pm.

The remains have been sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

An official said rescue work would end at around 9.30pm and resume on Sunday.

The private helicopter was travelling to Subang after taking off from Kuantan when it crashed in a rubber plantation at about 4.50pm.

Among those on board was Rompin MP Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis.

The others were Kedah businessman Datuk Robert Tan, Datuk Seri Azlin Alias, the Private Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office, a person by the name of Ajdiana Baiziera, pilot Capt Cliff Fournier, the owner of Chempaka Aviation, and bodyguard Mohd Razkan Seran, 32.
