Reduced jail term for 12 PAS supporters who protested against Perak MB's swearing-in


PUTRAJAYA: Twelve PAS supporters have been sentenced by the Court of Appeal here to 10 months' prison for demonstrating against the swearing-in of Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir as Perak Mentri Besar back in 2009.

Justice Moktarudin Baki maintained the conviction of Bad Latif Mansor, Suhana Abdullah, Meor Safizal Meor Mohamed Amin, Mohd Faiz Mohd Arshad, Zulhaizam Zulkifli, Isha Riduan Ishak, Adi Hilme Mohd Nasir, Yusuf Jaafar, Mohamad Nazeer Hameed, Khairul Azmi Hassan Basri, Mohd Hasri Ismail, and Mohamed Ismail S.M Abdul Kadir, who were found guilty by the Kuala Kangsar Sessions Court in Sept 2013.
