Adam, Mandeep remanded over #KitaLawan rally, Teo out on bail


KUALA LUMPUR: Student activist Adam Adli and Bersih 2.0 secretariat member Mandeep Singh have been further remanded following their arrests on Friday over the #KitaLawan rally in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman on March 7.

DAP Socialist Youth chief Teo Kok Seong, who was detained by police along with the duo, was released on police bail on Sunday.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainol Samah said Adam and Mandeep would be remanded until Tuesday for further investigations.

The three were being investigated for illegal gathering under Section 143 of the Penal Code.
