IGP: Sirul being held at Immigration detention centre in Queensland

KUALA LUMPUR: Former police commando Sirul Azhar Umar has been detained in Queensland by Australian police.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed that Sirul, who was convicted of murdering Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu, was detained on Tuesday morning.
