Duo charged with abusing girl

JOHOR BARU: A single mother and her unemployed boyfriend have pleaded not guilty to two counts of abusing her three-year-old daughter.

Factory operator Katrina Kamilah Kamarudin, 29, and Hishamuddin Ismail, 31, were first brought to a Sessions Court here to face the charge of physically abusing the girl by hitting her with a stick.
