MACHANG: A grandmother is grateful for having survived a harrowing experience of almost being drowned in a river, along with her husband and four grandchildren.
Recalling the scary incident, Tengku Nisah Tengku Othman, 61, said the four-wheel-drive Suzuki they were in was swept into the river by floodwaters in Kampung Padang Raja at about noon last Wednesday.
