Security guard dies after shooting himself in chest

BALIK PULAU: A security guard accidentally shot himself dead when he tried to remove a round of ammunition that was stuck in the chamber of his pump gun.

State deputy CID chief Asst Comm P.R. Gunarajan said M. Pusbanathan, 52, had removed four rounds of ammunition before leaving the bank where he worked in Sungai Dua and returning to his security firm in Bukit Jambul near here.
