Two men escape death while washing 4WD vehicle in river

KOTA KINABALU: Two men, who were washing their vehicle in a river, narrowly escaped death after water levels rose suddenly.

Mu Vu Yian, 26, and Eme Pikin, 25, were washing their four-wheel drive vehicle in the Kampung Notorus river along the Penampang-Tambunan road at about 2pm Tuesday when there was a sudden surge of water.
