Asif Khan Ayob from Pekan Nenas, Pontian was found fully clothed lying facedown on the floor of the car's middle passenger seat at around 1.40am on Friday.
A friend of the victim, who declined to give his name, said the deceased was a debt collector and popular among a large circle of friends.
